Shaba Chandelier

Guaranteed to steal the show in a home, restaurant or lodge, the Shaba Chandelier from Malawi is completely handmade from recycled copper and glass. Discarded glass bottles are collected, broken down and tumbled until smooth, while copper sourced from local scrap yards is cleaned and cut by hand into hundreds — and, for the larger chandelier, thousands — of individual discs.

The glass is available in aqua, white, or a combination of the two, cascading through tiers of copper to create a chandelier that changes character throughout the day and comes alive when lit.
